If she was in heat in the summer did she get out at all? if she did then there's a chance that she could be. Pregnancy's for dogs last on average 62-63 days. From what you have described it sounds like she might be. However sometimes dogs have false pregnancy's which is where they act and have normal pregnancy signs but they don't have puppies. If she has gained weight I suggest lightly feeling her belly for movement and kicking. A week before my dog gave birth I could feel the puppies inside her kicking. If you want to know for sure a vet can do an ultrasound after 3weeks (21 days) or they can do an x-ray after about 7 weeks (55 days). If you don't want to go to the vet then you might need to just wait it out. If you have any other questions plz e-mail and I will answer your questions to teh best that I can. Good luck.

Allie try to remember the last time she was in heat. Did you mate her on purpose or did she run away. because if so she is pregnant by the looks of it.

If you are absolutely sure she wasn't anywhere near a dog then she may have a false pregnancy - yes bitches think they are pregnant and start to show all these symptoms. she may even take a favorite toy and treat it like a puppy.

Last resort - get a vet to check her out. Or take her to an animal shelter - they may have someone who can help you for just a small fee.

One more thing Allie if you can;t be sure of controlling your dog every time she is in heat please, please, please have her neutered. Unchecked breeding can result in a very big litter over six puppies. You can't have that happening every six months or so.

noone on Yahoo can tell ,take your dog to a vet and get her fixed.

edit:If you want puppies adopt one
its cheaper, less time consuming and you wont be adding to the pet overpopulation!
Go to www.dogsindanger.com or www.petfinder.com and adopt a puppy ! Each year 4 million dogs are euthanzied in US .50% of them are puppies.
Get your dog fixed, she will be healthier . Do you have $3000 saved up in case your dog needs an emergency c section? do you have homes for up to 8 puppies? do you ahve money for shots and everthing involved? can you sleep at night knowing your a back yard breeder? Think it over and get her fixed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsX-PMyhpGY
