I think of the time its just a way to get points without actually answering a question. Kind of like those people that answer it with "I don't know."

People can't let some things go. Just because they don't like it or don't agree with your opinion then you are automatically wrong and they have to let you know that. Really, it should just be a matter of moving on to the next question and getting over it.
