I see them everyday and actually all look very healthy. In my opinion they want a ride on the easy USA streets. It doesn't take a lot of time to get a non-immigrant H-2 visa, actually it is a quick process. They come in for six months (legally) as a guest worker and then they go back home. I don't have pity on them, because to me it seems that they don't want to bother with the process.

I agree. Why "pity" people that broke our laws to enter our country?? Why not pity the millions patiently waiting to enter our country LEGALLY??

Deport the illegal alien criminals and send them to the end of the line behind those that follow our laws No quick path to citizenship for criminals.

I don't CARE whatever hardships they are facing in OUR country. They shouldn't be here in the FIRST PLACE!!!

I agree with YODA. Yes why pity the illegals. In the first place that is their own decision. I think the right term is UNDERSTANDING THE ILLEGALS. There are some people who wants to enter the US legally but they were not given a chance because of the illegals business many many year ago and until now they are still doing that. I think the US immigration should hire a Fortune Teller or use a Lie Detector to find out if the applicants are telling a lie. Like in my case I applied two times and Denied two times also. Honestly I don't have any intention to live there I just want to see how beautiful that country is and spend sometime with my love ones who are staying there.

There is much misinformation about illegals and here's a site to educate them. Unfortunately, there is no Spanish version.

Sneak ALL the Mexicans into China, Norway, Germany or even Armenia and see how much pity they get from the "Welcome Wagon".

Actually, if you knew more about the immigration legallitites you would know how hard it is. It takes 2-5 yrs for one to get permit/visa from the Philippines, in Mexico the average person can expect to pay $8,000-15,000 American per person! I takes years, too. Imagine how hard it has been for my friends who were able to get their paper work, and leave but their babies paperwork didn't come through in time, so they had to leave their kids behind. And many countries require someone to sponser their citizens immigrating to the US, so unless they know someone or have relatives here. The sponser has to have room, board, job, family checks, background, no DSHS aid, and make about $1500 extra just to put towards their alien comming here. Another friend of mine, her mom died while they were waiting for her Visa. Another friend saw his baby girl 2x in 3 yrs, b/c of waiting for her Visa. Or my legal friend whose hubby couldn't come over, and didn't see their baby boy till he was 18 mos. Do some research.

Easy streets of the U.S.??? Yea making $4 or $5 an hour, 60 hrs a week is soooo easy. In my line of work I see it all the time. And who is hiring them?? By and large, older wealthy White men. They don't want to spend the money on legitimate employees so they hire illegals and day-laborers. Take it up with them... They don't have to do it!
However, the illegals are doing what's in the best interest of them and their family, and I think most of us would do the same had we been born in poverty. Remember, unless you're Native American, at one point your ancestors came here too.
