Tell your family about your concerns and tell them them a few rules.
1. don't embarass you in front of mates and collegues.
2. have some fun instead of worrying about the younger members of the family they deserve a break too.

don't not invite i did that one time and when they found out they wouldn't talk to me and i felt really guilty.

Get all their alcohol, and empty it prior. Then fill it with a soft drink, or whatever, so they can't tell difference. It's a little extreme, but they're the sorta extremes i would go to for my mother if she drank. Sadly she doesn't so there's no way to control her behaviour. And why does your family have to come to this? Say you're trying to impress your boss who also coming, so you can't have them there, because you want to give off a more "professional" look.

Tell them if they get drunk, you'll call the cops and have them removed from the scene. It's your party, be in total control of it.
