tif, you know the drill.
You know you exactly where you are at.
And you know the Right things to do to put yourself again in right standing with Christ Jesus again.
LOL all you like, it's not popularity with people you seek, it IS that inner desire to return to Him.
Please do, you know His Love and How much we hurt Him when we sin and turn our backs toward Him.
Remember the parable about the lost sheep?
Return and be the Apple of your Heavenly Fathers eye!*

In the Book of Exodus "One of the Ten Commandments states plainly "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me"....Saying that you "pray to God at times" means you do not really take your faith seriously. The ideal of Wiccan is not supposed to be against the church, but pro nature as spirituality, but you cannot be a wholehearted Christian and Wiccan at the same time, it is either one or the other (I am sure Wiccans would disagree with this statement).
The God I know does not accept compromise. You either accept Him as the only God, or you don't accept him at all.

There's nothing wrong with wishing!!!!!!!! You beleive in God, you do what's right in your religion.. You practice it and everything.. What's wrong with wishing? Isn't it some sort of a prayer anyway? You know it's just a "wish" and if there really was something to ask for you'd pray for it.. You wouldn't look at a star and say "Oh, please make that happen O Mighty Star!!!" right? lol.. Don't worry too much, wish as much as you want.. You're not damned xD As long as you don't really believe in wishing stars and all.. And that your ultimate guidance or whatever is God himself ^-^
OoOoOo I wish I am right =D

Just about everyone "wishes" from time to time; this doesn't make you Wiccan. However, if you have a sincere belief that wishing gets you what you want, you need to stop and think: Where is the answer to the wish coming from??? The point is, you have to decide in whom or what you want to place your trust.

Wishing is similar to praying ... but if you 'wish' for something to happen and it does, you think YOU are responsible for it, where if you pray, you thank God. But WHO 'answers' you when you say 'I wish...' for something or for a happening? GOD. God PREFERS that we 'apply to him directly by name' but he DOES answer 'wishes' too ... in EXACTLY the same way he answers prayers ... not by our 'will' but by HIS will. That means that if it's something you need (which you may see as a good thing, or possibly a bad thing that 'works out' better for you in the future) it happens, but if it is BAD for you, it won't.
NO, you are not going to be 'damned' for your wishes ... God is SO LOVING and SO FORGIVING that he has ALREADY FORGIVEN YOU for making 'wishes' instead of 'praying' to Him. What you are going to do is UP TO YOU ... but what God does in answer to your 'wishes' isn't ANY DIFFERENT from what he'd do if you 'prayed' ... but it may take LONGER, because you haven't yet learned the lesson that God really would PREFER IT if you 'prayed' (asked politely, because God is HIGHER than any other 'being') ... but at least now, you should be assured that you will NO be 'damned.'

Wicca is the worship of nature. Why worship the creature? God created nature and He alone is worthy of our worship. He is very offended by people giving credit to some thing that he created as having powers that came from Him. Would you like to give a gift to a friend and have them thank the gift for being so generous to honor her with it's presence? It makes no sence. Worship only the one that can appreciate it.
Oh, and a good wish to make may be to ask God for wisdom.

Your question was confusing. But I'd like to say this... Wicca is NOT against the church, they just believe differently. Why do people always assume that because someone doesn't believe like they do that they are automatically against the church? It's not always the case.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the "right" God is nowhere to be found in any book. Maybe the "right" religion doesn't exist. If you believe in God and "going to a better place" than maybe you should realize that any God worth worshiping would not damn you to hell just because you got it a little wrong.

I'm no authority on Wiccans or anything but I do like the natural ways you guys go about things and your deep reverence for nature. I can't exactly say that for some of these holier than thou bible thumpers (who are a lot of times bigots anyways- some, not all.)
So I think it's okay, as long as you are good. You know?

Wicca is a religion. If you are Christian and think you are practicing Wicca, you are incorrect.
You are confused if you think Wicca is spells...
casting spells and things like that ARE NOT the Wiccan religion.
Christianity has a long and storied tradition of magic. Try Christian mysticism, instead.
Saying you want to be Wiccan for the spells is like saying you want to be Jewish for bagels, hun.
