I, have problem skin.
i can make a list of alllll the things wrong with it, the thing is, is that i would rather spend time doing something about it. So i need some help guys.

1. i have HUMONGOUS pores on my cheeks, like bigger than the tip of a sharpened pencil, i also have some redness that is slowly fading, but not soon enough.
2. inbetween my brows and at the start of my forehead, i have awful BRIGHT red bumps that are just red, i cant pop them, there not painful, just really red. I also have many remaining black heads here.
3. on my nose, i have many big black/brown balckheads, but instead of the flat characteristic, when i squeeze them (trying not to be gross here) about an inch long yellow tube oozes out of my pore. Its gross, i know!!
4. on my chin, i have white bumps that are IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of, and a big painful blemish.

god what do i do?! Is there any effective home remedies to treat this? These and drugstore recomendations are welcome!!

Thank u!

1) After washing your face at night, dampen a cotton pad w/ hydrogen peroxide & swipe it over your nose. Hydrogen peroxide will bleach the blackheads & kill the bacteria that cause them.

If you have sensitive skin, leave the hydrogen peroxide on for 5 minutes & rinse it off.

2) Aspirin mask: Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer where needed & let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.

3) Steam facials. Here's how: http://www.ehow.com/how_2564_give-yourself-facial.html

You can use this mask for combination or sensitive skin when giving yourself a facial:
Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water & a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil & temporarily tighten pores.

do you have trouble seeing at night? Then you could be lacking vitamin a - you can find out about that online
in the meantime, zits are from the chemicals in processed foods trying to get out of the body but there is too much for the liver to handle so it goes out through the skin, gets backed up and causes all sorts of symptoms - so that's the harsh truth about our food situation and it's really hard to stay away from processed foods
Get Thyme tea and let soak on your face when you can, wash face with it - the essential oil cleared everything up for me

blemishes... try putting honey on them at night and cover with a bandaid.. believe it or not. It clears the spot of bacteria.
black heads... boire strips, salicyclic acid meds,
large pores... mix up eggs whites and apply leave on til dry and wash off with warm water, or mash bananas and do the same thing...
Ever wash your wash with oatmeal? That helps with oil that causes acne.
take acidolphilus pills.. available where ever they sell herbal remedies... or eat yogurt.
Drink more water for your skin's sake.
Wash your face more than once a day... can you fit in 3 times a day?

Wow, your descriptions sound just like what my face used to look like...until I got it under control. I've tried EVERYTHING under the sun. Been on Accutane twice! I gave up on dermatologists and did a lot of researching on my own. Go to this website first, www.acne.org. Daniel Kern the creator of the clear skin regimen knows his stuff. I've been on the benzoyl peroxide regimen using his bp gel and regimen for almost over a year. It's significantly cleared my skin and reduced blemishes. But when you're on benzoyl peroxide, your skin tends to dry out, so I've stopped for a while to give my skin a rest. In the meantime, your skin sounds like it's congested and in need of a "jumpstart." In order for products to work well and soak into your skin for the highest benefits, the canvas (your face) has to be uncongested and clean. Have you tried Olay's microdermabrasion system? It's very similar to Philosophy's microdermabrasion peel system, but half the price. I've been using it faithfully going on 3 weeks now, and I can't tell you how much my skin has improved. The redness is going away, my face is less oily, pores are smaller; I should have tried it sooner. In conjunction with the microdermabrasion peel used twice a week, I moisturize morning and before going to bed at night with jojoba oil. This is my next absolute favorite and very cheap problem skin solution. Jojoba oil is a "miracle" ester wax that everyone should know about. I personally use Desert Essence's jojoba oil for hair, skin and scalp. You can purchase it on drugstore.com or if you have a local Trader Joe's it's cheaper there. I also use Desert Essence's thoroughly clean face wash. You might think adding oil to your face is bad, but if you do a lot of reading up on jojoba oil, you'll find it has wonderful skin benefits. Go to makeupalley.com to read all about people's experiences with jojoba oil and also on drugstore.com. I've played around with different products that work for my skin. Here's my daily skincare regimen:

Wash in the morning with Desert Essence thoroughly clean face wash
After face is dry, follow with a nickel size amount of Olay moisturizer (the classic one with Vitamin E & C). Don't use the one with mineral oil in the ingredients.
I put 3-4 drops of jojoba oil in with my moisturizer to give my face an added boost. Apply makeup and go about your day as usual. I blot my face twice throughout the day to get rid of excess oil, but I've found that my face is getting less oily the more I stay on my current skin regimen.

At night, remove all makeup with jojoba oil soaked into a cotton pad.
Wash face in the shower with Desert Essence thoroughly clean face wash.
After shower, moisturize face by putting 4-5 drops jojoba oil in palm of hand, rub to warm oil up and then pat all over face. The jojoba oil will calm red skin, and when you sleep it goes to work repairing your skin.

Twice a week use the Olay microdermabrasion peel at night after showering to unclog facial pores and follow up immediately with just jojoba oil to moisturize before going to bed. The vitamin C in the microdermabrasion peel helps with skin renewal turnover, so that in conjunction with the jojoba oil works wonders!

My face has improved drastically! Hope this helps. I've given you some good products to turn to and a good website for some info on acne.

Good luck!
