My vet wanted me to worm my dogs every month for a yr. I had had so many rescues through here that my yard was infected with hook and round. We'd worm the dogs and the next month they were infected again.
I used wormers for 5 months and hated giving poisons every month. I switched to DE and have given it to the dogs ever since. I no longer have loose or bloody stools. The DE works!

Sorry, never heard of it, but it will be ineteresting to see if ithers have. I don't get the whole raw feeding and supplements thing. What's wrong with a good dog food? I agree that the raw feed is probably better than half the dog food available at the supermarket, but if you get a decent dog food , isn't that much less hassle. An old vet friend of the family told us about a dog food called Beta when we got our first boxer almost thirteen years ago, and we have fed this and only this ever since. Our dogs have had no problems with teeth, digestion, food allergies, nothing. And the vets say that our dogs are the healthiest dogs that they have on thier books with regards to joints and general fitness. Our old boxer died just before her twelfth birthday, and she had had a checkup just a few weeks before, and the vet had said that she had the skeleton and fitness of a two year old dog. Our current boxer (in the photo) has been fed on Beta foods form day one, and she too has excellent fitness, great coat and perfect joints. The same vet always told us that the best dog foods are never advertised, they sell themself- which is certainly something to think about. We buy Beta in 17.5kg bags, costing around £20 a time ,so it is very reasonably priced compared to some other brands.

Just because something's posted on the internet, does not give it credibility! I think you need to take a step back ad realise what a load of old crap you've been taken in by.
Firstly, do you even know what the definition of 'poison' is? Because if you did, you'd realise that Diatomaceous Earth is also a poison!
Secondly, you haven't actually said what you're supposed to DO with the stuff to combat fleas and worms - you can't even string a coherent sentence together! How about you go back to school and learn to write properly, then go and do some actual research into how Diatomaceous Earth is supposed to be used, and how fleas can actually be killed, safely and effectively.

I know this because I run a natural pet food store and sell it for flea and tick treatment. May I make two points:
1. be careful as this can dry out coats more. This is how it kills bugs by drying out the cuticle and suffocating it. So if a pet is having a dry coat as well, use neem on the pet and use DE on the carpet and grass.
2. If you check your spelling and formatting before you post you will be more effective. You have a great message you need to be more professional and more people will believe it!

Yes, that is such a good idea. Food grade diatomaceous earth will also help keep fleas and ticks out of your house. Sprinkle it around the outside of your house, at the base of the walls, and ticks can't cross it, it's like belly crawling over broken glass for them.

Yes, I've read this before but don't believe its effective against major flea infestations (which is what happens here due to the lack of freezing temperatures and constant damp weather).
