I don't know how old you are, but I started getting pain in my knees every time I went up stairs (even one or two). I started taking an MSM/glucosamine complex and after about a week, week and a half I stopped aching in my joints at all. (I'm in my 40s.) Chondroitin is also used, but I have trouble finding one pill that has all three.
