I believe you will still have to pay for your sins, I dont believe you get off scott free.
I believe that, and as I say we are all entitled to our own believes. You cant murder and rape, and be forgiven then go straight to heaven, I believe you will pay in the Spirit World and then maybe go to heaven.

Adam if there many mansions in heaven
what are they for. I think they are sort of holding places, I don't believe evil people can walk straight into heaven, whether forgiven or not. Jesus said it will be done on earth as it is in heaven, I believe as there are prisons on earth, there will be something similar in heaven.

That is for sure! I don't know ant judge that will say " Oh, he said sorry for stealing that car. I forgive him. He can go home now. He doesn't have to pay damages." That would be ludacress! Jesus died to pay for Original sin; we still have to pay for our own offences against Our Lord.

The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which is rejecting Jesus for your whole life. If you are truly a Christian you aren't guilty of this sin. You also receive the Holy Spirit upon salvation. If you're a Christian you by definition have the Holy Spirit. Any other sin you commit is forgivable. If you really belong to Christ you strive not sin with God's help which it sounds like you are doing. Just don't fall into the trap of trying to do it without Him.

First of all, we all sinners, there are no good sins and evil sins, just sins, all bad, all evil sins.
Some of us are sinners that have repented and asked for God forgiveness through Jesus. The Bible says that the pay for the sin is death, and Jesus died in substitution of all mankind. Now, to obtain the benefit of Jesus payment on our individual accounts we have to accept him as our Saviour and follow His rules stated at the Bible. If you do that, you are saved and therfore no pending debt to pay to God.
If you say that after accepting Jesus as your Saviour and follow His rules, you still have to pay for your sins (or just for the worst ones) at the spiritual world then you are saying that the forgivenes you receive from Jesus was incomplete. That idea is not compatible with what Jesus taught in the New Testament.

I agree with you. If someone murders, maims, or rapes, Their is no way that I believe God would be waiting on this person who had done any or all of these things to welcome them with open arms. I think that person or persons go to Purgatory and stay for nice bit of time to rid himself of these sins and if they choose not to change then they get the elevator that is clearing marked DOWN.
We are all held accountable for the choices we make. And with those choices comes consequences. That is not unloving or an unforgiving God. It is a God that teaches his children that if you make a wrong choice that ends up hurting someone else, there is a price to pay for these choices.

I believe as long as you are still in the emotional state, similiar to that you had before you commited a crime, and have not made the neccessary changes within yourself, God will still see in your heart, the negative energy that is there. But, if you are no longer that type of person, God will recognized this change, and no longer see you for what you use to be. I think God is smart enough to see a change individual, from one who has not changed. And I know that a good and moral God, will give credit to those who have done work to improve themself.

Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe, sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.
This does not mean however, that you can ask Christ to forgive you, say that you accept Christ and continue in sin- however we are forgiven if we repent- turn from our sin back to God. IF we continued to sin and then ask for grace, this would be cheap grace-and it certainly was not cheap- it cost Christ His life on the Cross- have you accepted that free gift?
and if a sinner, dies immediately after accepting Christ, there is no spirit world, they go straight to heaven. How do I know this because Jesus said on the cross. to the criminal that repented- "TODAY, you shall be with Me in paradise"

Well that would be making Jesus' sacrifice for our sins pretty pointless wouldn't it! doesn't make sense. You can't keep on making up a faith to suit yourself, you ought to read what God says. We will all be judged, but Christians will go to heaven, for us it's not about that it's about rewards. We will be rewarded according to how we used what God has given us, and we can apparantly lose our reward, but not our salvation.

we not only have to deal with God's discipline for our disobedience, but we also have to deal with the natural consequences resulting from sin. if a believer steals something, God will forgive him and cleanse him from the sin of theft, restoring fellowship between himself and the repentant thief. however, the societal consequences of theft can be severe, resulting in fines or even jail time. these are natural consequences of sin and must be endured. but God works even through those to increase our faith and glorify himself.

According to your theory then, we have to deal with our own sins......what Jesus did was pointless and invalid. Let me remind we have 40000 thoughts a day. I would estimate 10000 are sinful.......good luck in dealing with you own sins. Jesus dealt with my past, present and future sins. I now go before Him boldly everyday because He sees Jesus cloak of righteuosness covering me 24/7.

You will suffer on earth, sowing and reaping. Once you are forgiven and saved, you go to heaven, no punishment.
