well i am 16 and i really like this guy and he is 19 we have been friends since we were really young and we are both shy so i dont know what should do? help me?

say something, ask if hes shy and tell him you like him, that part is really easy. tell him you like him and whatever feelings you have, like wanting to be with him, wanting to go have lunch/dinner, anything and then he'll be a little setback but no more shyness and you can see where this could go

You know in your heart that something doesn't ring true for you. He is older than you and it is a bit soon for you to be getting serious with anyone. It might be best to hang out with your mates for awhile, a guy with three years on you is just a bit unfair for you. Feelings are difficult to handle at your age and that is why parents don't like an older man dating a younger girl. It's too much when you have college ahead of you, even a brief attachment can lead to longing for more and it's unfair to you. You have to experience life some, as well should he. When I was 19 a girl 16 was taboo, it's an unfair advantage. Adj any girl who ever gave up her plans for a young love and they will tell you, don't do it. Have a great weekend. and

Well ya know 3 years is kinda normal but you gotta look into the situation of your state because you may like him but uh ya know in some places he could be busted as a sex offender and have to wear an ankle collar for life and everyone trying to bust his *** for being a creep when all he did is fall in love with his childhood sweetheart. So try to do some research here if you care about him don't get his *** busted.
Certainly it would be helpful if you went an dlooked into contraception and got on the pill or something because you do all that that goes to the issue of consent assuming you are in a state where you are at the age of consent.
Now like I done this up and down been with women 11 years older married another one 20 years younger so you see three years is kinda amateur level here. The main thing is that you're not yet fully independent. You're too young to be married but you want to bop him could be good for both of you maybe make a nice serious relationship when you're 21 you see where you sit with all that don't go running off and elope and don't get stoopid pregnant see? You're too young for that.
Some folks say save yerself for marriage fact is you're at the age where most folks start. Half the TV preachers I ever read about up to shenanigans with young women. Don't deprive yerself. Love is normal so is sex. JQR

us hud try 2 talk about how u both feel about the situation. also u might have 2 step outside of the box and loose the shyness. if u've known him since u both were young u shouldnt be shy around him.

i don't know how to help you, because i am the same. i am 16 who like a guy that is 20 years old we got engaged last year but to this day i am vary shy from him and we never went out together because i am very ver shy to be with him alone.

Write him a letter, or even a song! It'll really mean something ((seeing as how you said you're both pretty shy)). But don't embarrass yourself, so at least get a good feel to see if he likes you back or not.

Well if u've known him for a long time then you should talk to him. Kind of flirt with him and see if he makes a move. Otherwise you could just talk to him. If ur too shy try getting a mutual friend to get the scoop on him, it worked for me when i was younger.]

ask him. if you guys have been friends that long it shouldn't matter what you to talk about. it shouldn't affect your relationship for the worst just the better
don't wait too long to see if he likes you . you might miss out on your opportunity to be with him
