i keep having a stinging pain in my lower left back. i have had some problems with my kidneys a very very long time ago but not recently. the pain comes and goes. it's like a shooting pain that happens very quickly then goes away and return a few hours later. i also notice that at night when i go to sleep and when i wake up in the morning my back will be extremely sore, so sore the the point where if i try to breathe it hurts just to breathe. this part happens when my bladder needs to be emptied but i still can't understand why i have those shooting pains in my lower left back. someone had recently left a reply i reposted if you would like to share something please feel free to do so

You didn't mention exercise so I am assuming that this is not a result of some physical activity. Muscle spasms can present themselves as many different symptoms. Usually if something comes and goes-there is cause that becomes a variable as well. You might want to do some basic stretching for your lower back prior to going to bed. Lay flat on floor and bring one knee to your chest-then the other-then both-This will help. If you are carrying extra weight in your midsection-that could cause this as well.Try doing some "crunches" or sit ups to strenghten your abdominal area-this helps as well.

That pain is caused by a pinched muscle in your back. When you have a pinched muscle in your back the pains often follow the nerves to the front of your body and appear there. When you do either of those gross things, you are also compressing the muscles in your back to help cause the pain to increase. To get rid of the pain you have to free up the muscles in your back and here's how to do that: Back: (do from a sitting position) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
