Also not very omnicognizant if they have to daub the doorway with blood.
It sounds more like gang violence than a deity.
Edit:
Is Maybe as really stupid as she comes across? And she is telling you to learn more about passover. I guess she thinks irony means "similar to iron"

Notwithstanding the murder of probably thousands of Hebrew babies at the Egyptian''s hands. In fact, Moses was hidden from just such an act. However, the passover is celebrated because God brought his people out of bondage. I'd like to say that Pharoh was given many opportunities to release the Hebrews before this final act, and he refused to do so. Read the story.

What might be of interesting note is that the Pharaoh of Egypt was killing all the male babies being born to the Israelites that he could prior to this event. So, could it be an example of God dealing out vengeance against the Egyptians for what they had done?
Or was the killing of who knows how many innocent Israelite babies okay with you?
The greatest truism that exists is "what goes around comes around" also known as "you reap what you sow."

The final plague wasn't baby-specific. It was specific to the first-born of Egypt, whether adult or infant and also included the first-born of cattle (Egyptians worshipped cattle-gods).
Pharoah was warned again and again.
The only "baby" specified for the Passover was the one-year-old, perfect male lamb for the Passover meals of the Hebrew slaves about to go free.

a God who murdered those Babies was being just and true. He was being awesome. They were his babies to do what he wanted with. Celebrating the Passover is celebrating his grace in saving certain babies... not the holy and justified killing of the others. Just because you don't like something doesn't make it wrong.

Those were the future oppressors of the Jewish people. You know what they say, all's fair in love and war. I am sure I will get thumbs down for this answer because everybody is like oh how sad for the innocent babies, but that is because you have never known what it is to have all of your people enslaved to serve another. Those children would have grown up to be their future masters had God not intervened on their behalf.

And you hold no accountability to Pharaoh who threw thousands of Jewish baby boys into the Nile? Or Herod who supposedly did the same thing in the Christian part of their bible?
Come on now, can't have it both ways. Either everyone who does these things is a murderer, or none of them are.

Yup. But they were foreign babies. So it doesn't matter.
Answer 1 said the same thing but with a rather more warped interpretation (I think they actually believe it does not matter).
