While the employee gets a credit for overpaid social security (due to having multiple jobs) on his or her return, the employer does not.

You'll get your excess for the year back - you claim it on your tax return. Neither employer gets some of their match back - which one would they give it to? Neither one paid over the limit for the year for you.
