I believe that someday Christ will right this terrible wrong done to His holy Mother and who knows perhaps they will revere Her even more than we do, to make up for all the viciousness they are so guilty off.

Midge,
They just ignore Scripture and project their hatred for Christ's Church to her. Someone here even claimed that Jesus was born in a sinful vessel and that is idiotic Christian theology to be kind.
Jesus was born without the stain of original sin because He was born to a woman full of grace just as the angel Gabriel said. She was without sin and remained without sin her whole life. She was preserved without sin all of her life.
Some say she is dead but we know from Scripture that the saints are very much alive and that they do hear our prayers and present them before the throne of God. They surround us as a great cloud of witnesses. She is the example of us all in her obedience to God's will and devotion to her son. That is why we venerate her, because we want to be like her in our faithfulness. May the Lord have mercy on them when every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. May those condemning the faithful in His Church not be condemned but may our Lord forgive them for they know not what they do.
In Christ
Fr. Joseph

READ the Bible and SEE how Jesus treated her. Mary held NO prominent position in ANY of the gospels. Mary was simply the imperfect woman God chose to place the life of Jesus into so that he could be born a perfect man. While Jesus was developing as a baby, Jehovah God was sustaining Mary with his holy spirit so that she, although imperfect, could give birth to a perfect male baby.
The catholic church is guilty of idolatry, in direct disobedience of the apostles' commands to keep abstaining from idols.
Jesus is NOT YHWH God Almighty. Jesus is the Son of God. The trinity is a LIE, and is a teaching of the demons. NO human woman could POSSIBLY be the mother of God. God resides in the Heavens OF the heavens. God lives outside the physical universe. In Revelation, as angels pour out God's denunciations on the earth, they are pictured as standing next to the 'glassy sea' that is in front of God's throne.

Mary was chosen precisely because she was of a humble mind according to her words in Luke.
So she is not going to be concerned with her own glory. God may well honour her greatly, but obviously not in the degree that Jesus will be, as He did the greatest act of service, as well as being God and so worthy.
I don't think protestants mock her, they just don't consider her a great deal, except the occasional sermon which might reflect on her qualities.

So, just because we do not venerate her, worship her, pray to her and give her status the Bible doesn't, we are treating her like dirt?? We show her the same respect we show Paul, Peter, James and all other believers. She was a sinner saved by grace, just like the rest of us.
Luk 1:46 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,
Luk 1:47 and my spirit exulted in God My Savior.
A sinner needs a savior, so obviously, she needed Christ to save her, like all other believers.

I don't think they will get the chance. Imagine Jesus' reaction to the way they have treated His mother like garbage.

They will come to love her just as much as Jesus loves her and has always loved her, as much as us catholics love her.

I am not sure what you are saying , but I only get on chance to answer so I will try. Read is Mary dead or alive. you will see the truth. I know her to be dead and can not help us in any way she was not of the first fruits of Resurrection and will be resurrected in the judgment time. So she sleeps and can not help any one .
