I have sporadic pain on the sides of my finger tips. This never goes above the first joint from the nail but the pain is EXTREME. It is not seasonal but it does come and go. Some days its fine other days its horrible with no noticeable difference between the days. Pain is always on the sides, never on the top or bottom but when I touch/hit pain goes trough the finger and puts me on my knees. I have a high pain tollerance but this is more than I can take. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Both my MD and Joint Dr have no idea what it is and don't seem to care to much.

I'm only 21. Is it really Venutian Arthritis? Could you provide a link on info?

I don't really notice a difference in color. This generally only happens in my left hand and it does show the white marks suggesting I am getting insufficient amounts of iron/w/e.
