I already call the county and they sold the taxes.I called the number they gave me and the other person said that I lost my home,that i have to pay "rent" and then i have to buy the house back.Help I do not want to do this.I want to keep my home.

please contact the taxing authority and make arrangements to do so.
They usually have fees associated with this so it is not as simple as paying what you owe...good luck

Maybe, maybe not. It depends upon procedures in your state.

In some states the tax district sells tax deeds that are nothing more than the right to receive the taxes from the owner. The owner has 1 - 3 years to redeem the tax deed. In a case like that it's pretty easy, you just pay the tax plus the interest satated on the tax deed.

In other states, once it's sold it's gone for good.

Contact the tax district and see if you can redeem your property and if so, what the procedures and costs are.
