What in maths should one learn to do advanced microcomputer/parallal computer architecture?

Everything up through non-linear difference equations, numerical methods, heory of computation, algorithmic complexity, number theory, and probably some game theory wouldn't be a bad idea. Altogether, about 4 or 5 years worth of math.
