I used to use LimeWire often to download my music. Until I heard of all the lawsuits against the company, and users being sued for downloading the songs. I understand that it is legal to have it, but illegal to download the songs. Is it true that it is illegal to use, and is iMesh also illegal?

well it depends on HUB owners most P2P operates on hub basis. to make long story short...Limewire has problem witth downloading illegal songs. even they don't allow anyone to post illegal copyrighted material.
the same story goes to Imesh.

Limewire is still out there, and still being used. If you want to download music, download Limewire and start hunting for your music.
