On the camera or in a menu, there might be 3 different flash settings. One would turn the flash off under all circumstances, one would fire the flash under all circumstances (sometimes referred to as force flash, but more often fill flash, and automatic flash where the flash fires if the camera perceives there isn't enough light to properly expose the image without additional light. You may have selected an icon that shows a lighting bolt with a line through it- meaning flash is turned off.

there's a leyway of 10% of the fee decrease plut 3 miles in line with hour. So in a 70 decrease the digital camera is desperate at 10% of 70 ie 7 plus 3 viz on the digital camera is desperate at 80. not all cameras paintings on an identical time because of the fact the police pass a constrained variety of cameras around from website to website.

1) if there's a button that looks like it has a lightning bolt symbol by it, push it and see if that reactivates the flash.

2) given that the camera is $40, it's also a real possibility that the capacitors or another electrical component have burned up/malfunctioned. In other words, your flash might also be toast.

Read & study the Owner's Manual that came with the camera. It wasn't packed as filler material. It was included so you could learn to operate your camera.
