Does anyone know of a Raleigh Caterer that is good and reasonably priced. I don't want to spend a lot of money although I know it is going to cost. My main focus is on the food. I want good food, but not the fancy food. Anyone ever had a wedding catererd from place near raleigh or in raleigh?

This is who I used
http://www.raleighcatering.com/

Her name was April and she was recommended by the Amran Shriners which is where I had my reception. She did a friends wedding a few weeks before, so I got the chance to try it out.

At the friends wedding she had a lot of hot pasta dishes that were amazing!

My wedding was mostly fruits and cheese (as I had a tropical theme). Then I had a lot of finger foods as well. She can make a lot of southern things--I had ham biscuits and pimento cheese as well. Her arrangements were just gorgeous. She tiers the food up, so it really looks like this extreme lavish display.

She allows you to provide your own drinks which was great. I was able to have multiple choices (sweet tea, unsweet, water, punch) for much cheaper than if she had done it.

Plus she was one of the 2 cheaper ones I found in the entire area. She takes care of all the rentals--linens, silverware, glasses, and the equipment rental she uses has the largest selections of linens. You go downtown and walk through the rows until you find the perfect shade. They get new shades in all the time as well.

Write me and I can show you some pics of her displays--and you tell her I recommended her.
