My bf and his ex are finally over each other and there is nothing left of the past, no feelings, nothing! So, they talk on myspace.... No biggie!
UNtiL she brings me up!! Then I get mad!

i would never be friends with an ex that just causes trouble . I hate all of my exs anyway .

I think it depends on how much time has passed. Every person has said "oh I'm so over my ex" but if it's only been a few months, then I can tell you - they're kidding themselves. Time is the only thing that heals wounds and some people can still have feelings for someone even years later.
With your situation, I think it's completely inappropriate. There are 2 things going on in this situation:
1) Your bf is probably revelling in the fact that he can now rub her face in his new, wonderful r'ship. So, he's stroking his ego by playing mind games and emotional games w/ his ex.
2) She's doing the same. She wants all the 411 on you to make HERSELF feel good. No ex-gf wants to think her ex-bf moved on to some hottie who is sweet, intelligent and makes the bf feel things she never could. So, she's trying to get negative info from him to make herselt feel good. They're both just stroking each other's egos and playing mind games with each other.
If he really loved you, he wouldn't feel the need to talk about your r'ship with her and wouldn't feel the need to be friends with her in the first place. When you love someone, you try your best not to do things to hurt them. He KNOWS this bothers you and still does it. So what does that say about HIM?

You can be friends with an ex, as long as it's mutual and there's nothing coming out of it besides being friends.

It's alright to be friends with an ex, but it will cause more drama in your relationship and how do you know she doesn't have some kind of "secret crush" on him still and will try and steal him from you?

IT DEPENDS IF YOU KNOW WHERE ITS GOING TO END UP OR IF YOUR REALLY JUST GOING TO BE FRIENDS. I HAVE ALOTTA EXS THAT IM KEWL WITH AND WE CAN HANG OUT FROM TIME TO TIME WITH NOTHING HAPPENEING BUT THERE WAS THIS ONE GUY WHO I WOULD SAY OH IM GOING TO YOUR HOUSE TO HANG OUT AND STUFF WOULD END UP HAPPENIN SO I CUT HIM OFF BECAUSE I REALIZED IF I DIDNT WE WOULD NEVER JUST BE FRIENDS AND I WOULD NEVER GET OVER HIM COMPLETELY

i think its ok to be friends with an ex.. but i know why you get mad.. if its really bothering you then just ask him to please stop talking to her or at least stop talking to her about you! :)

It is fine that they are friends, what are you really afraid of? It seems to me that you don't really trust him. If your man really love you he wouldn't stray. SO relax or you will lose him
