"Quality is not good" is not very descriptive.
The cable can only pass as good a video quality as the input.
It can't make your video look better than it is to begin with.

If it is noise that bothers, you may want to go back to component. Some HDTVs have better analog filters than digital video filters or perhaps the problem is with the player itself.

Did you set your dvd player's video output to hdmi in the settings?
