hey in my bio class today i had to rinse a beaker out. it had some water &iodine in it (but it was sitting for a day, so it was diluted i guess? right?) then had some glucose in it.. anyway, as i was cleaning it out i poured all the stuf out down the drain but a second later some water splashed up into my eye.

do you think it still had some iodine/glucose in it? i think it all went down the drain by then...
and could getting either of those in your eyes ruin your vision or anything? my eye hurt a little after wards..

Likely didn't hurt your eye.

The bigger question is why you weren't wearing eye protection. Protective eye shields or goggles should be mandatory in any science lab class.

I'm not really sure if you hurt your eye, but you should really tell your science teacher what happened, he'll probably know what to do.
