I am going to be the Godfather. If you think money is appropriate, how much?

are you catholic? traditionaly, the godparents buy the christianing gown, though it's an old tradition. a cross for his room or on a chain is always good choice or savings bond/cash. check a local religious gift shop. the people there can help you find something that you like.

How about a bible (it IS a christening) and maybe a savings bond. Thats usually what my kids got and it's a nice thoughtful gift and money for his future.
