I went on a first date with this guy. He is 6'4" and I'm 5'1". Do you think this is too crazy? Like would it be weird to see us walking down the street together?

Has anyone else had a similar experience? (a huge height difference?)

I dont think so. I havent had a similar experience im like 5-8 so they would have to be realy short or realy tall. There are all kinds of weird couples walkin down the street i dont think a foot and 3 in height dif is goin to be crazy.

Two of my best guy friends are currently in relationships with a HUGE height difference.

My lab partner is just shy of 6 foot. His girlfriend of two years is just under 4'11".

The other is about 6'3". His (for the sake of argument, it's a little complicated) girlfriend is maybe 5 foot or 5'1".

So no. It's not weird. It's cute. You have to be comfortable dancing, though, because they have to get real close. Or you could wear stilletos to a dance. The lab partner's girlfriend tends to wear heels to try to close the gap. But of course dancing that close is not necessarily a *bad* thing... ; )

NO that's not weird! I have a few friends who married guys who are taller by a lot - like, 5'0 and the groom was 6'9 for example. There's nothing wrong with this and people shouldn't care about height difference....as long as the two people are happy and legal, who cares??

once you're 5'8", then it takes 4" heels to make you 6' tall. i imagine heels that prime are somewhat a lot for wearing to varsity. placed on some shoes with 2" heels and also you need to be tremendous.

The older generation would call you Mutt and Jeff after a cartoon about a tall guy and a short guy. My good friends are very much different sizes like you and they get along great. I would say it is just one of those things that happens in life that is comical.

I´m 5´2 and my husband is 6´4, so I don´t think it´s weird. I love having a tall husband to put things on high shelves!

LOL, I think it is absolutely a terrible idea. Of course, I am biased since I am 5' and all the women my height are going with these abnormally tall guys. Other than that, go for it.

I LLOOOOOVVVVEEEE tall guys. I am also 5'1" and my boyfriend is 6'3'' I wouldn't have it any other way. Honestly I don't even look at short guys (guys under 6') I love standing on my tippy toes to kiss him and if you're thinking about getting married, don't you want your children to be tall? There's one way you can make sure of that and that is to be with a tall guy!

It's a big difference, but who cares? If ya like each other then keep going out...I've seen couples with large height differences before, as well as large weight differences. What matters is how they feel about one another. ☺

Im 5'1" and my husband is 6'2" and I dont think it's wierd, it really doesn't matter if you like the guy. Who cares what people think, at least you have someone.
