Ok so a girl breaks up with their bf because the relationship gets stagnant and boring for them. However, this bf was a great guy to them, might even have been the most attractive guy they had ever been with, and really enjoyed being with them for a while. So they break up with him because she feels it's not fair to each other. The bf is unconditionally in love with her and he has told her that he cares for her no matter what just the way she is. He treats her with the respect and dignity that all girls want. However it's obvious this relationship became stale because he was TOO nice all the time and didn't keep the flame burning by doing this and didn't keep her guessing and interested. My question is: how often do these women who go through this end up regreting letting them go later because they realize what they had was something great? And how long did it take and what made them come to realize this?

I don't know. I love nice guys and being treated with respect. This girl has issues. Be careful.
Don't stereotype all women by this experience. Who needs to be kept in the dark and guessing? No way! I love honest, straight shooting, sweet guys...and I'm not the only one. So if she doesn't come back, then it's her loss. Let her waste her precious time with the
"bad boys". She'll live to regret it.

I have never done that. I guess it would depend on the woman. My brother has been the victim of this. He simply treated his women too good. Meaning he let them get away with things he should not have such as expecting him to treat them like queens or goddesses and he is the lowly servant boy. He has had a sad love life because of it. I think the best relationships are the ones where both people are equal. Sometimes this same thing happens to women too, so you are not alone.

a lot of guys regret it like the next day after they break up with a great guy and she might secretly want to get back with him but she won't because it'll feel weird for her to come crawling back after she's the one who broke up with him. so ya i think its important that the relationships stays hot but it seems like you are a good guy and i think thats what matters the most. i bet she's already wanting you back if you're as nice as you seem.

If the questions on Yahoo is an indicator, both men and women have the problem, not just women.

Let go of her. She's not the one for you. She wants spice and you're just not that guy.
Another one will come along who will fully appreciate you.
Don't waste your time hoping that she'll come back to you someday. (ps. if she ever did, she'd be more willing to when she saw that you're not just waiting for her and you've moved on)

A woman does it because she loves him, she just doesn't know.
