I mean BLACK, blacker then black, so black i'll look like a raven lol. Should I go get it done professionally? Or, is there something I can find in the pharmacy that will do the trick? My hair is dark brown btw, so shouldn't be too hard eh?

get the jet black color from like target or walmart. If you have thick hair, get two bottles. if you have long hair get two bottles. Lather your hair really good with it and make sure you work it into all of your hair. separate it into sections and do it that way. Make sure you get your roots good too. All over. And wash it ALL out, until the water ruins clear. it will take a long time. if you dont you will have it all over the towel, your shirt, everything your hair touches when its wet.

It also fades and loses color in about 2 months. EVEN if you get a permanent one. every time you wash your hair you will notice some color is still coming out for about a week.

Good luck.

and this is not something you need to waste 50 dollars on going to get it professionally done. you can do it yourself, even if you miss a spot it probably wont be noticeable with how dark your hair is now.

It should be done by a professional.
By dyeing your hair blacker than black, of course you just want the shock value since total black hair does not exist in nature. Every black hair has shades of red in it, therefore under bright lights (ie sunlight) there will be shimmers /highlights of red and gold brown.
Totally black hair therefore screams "I am from a bottle !!!!!!" and is nice for models, or holloween, and of course for teenagers.
Go for the total look by using black eyebrow pencil or kohl crayon to blacken your eyebrows, black kohl to darken the eyelid hairs, Look at the magazines and copy the designer make up styles in there to match the look.

It wont matter on color really, it will either way look blue or purple in the sunlight, and your roots will look wierd coming in, but if you do it at home, you could miss a spot, and you may not notice it until someone points it out to you, but if you get it done professionally, it will all be black, and your roots may look better.

Get it done professionally. Black is a very harsh color in store bought colors. You're going to need lots of conditioning once it's finished and your hair stylist will be able to do that.
