As a Christian I believe there will be no lasting peace in the middle east till the anti christ, I believe we are that close. With Iran and now Russia hooked up we cannot stop the both of them without nuking everybody. God will never let Israel go down again I don't believe, I mean they haven't been a nation for what 2500 years and now they are here, I think with the chip and technology we have today the antichrist could easily rule. What Prophecy is left to fulfill besides Armageddon and the rapture of the Church.

I'm sure most theists would agree that some day, God will bring about peace everywhere, and justice will be done (or trumped by mercy). The spiritual solution is for everyone to see the creator for who he is... once we've all seen him, we'll be a whole lot more respectful of everyone else he's created.
Personally, I expect this will follow the plot laid out in the Book of Revelation.

I don't think there will ever be peace in the middle east, I think things are about to get worst...didn't you happen to hear that the Russian President said a few days ago??

I don't think there will ever be peace without a largescale retreat from religious fundamentalism.
That won't mean automatically mean peace, but it will allow them to explore what the real issues are.
I guess I ignored the fact that you asked this in R&S and not politics or something. There won't be any spiritual solution - if you believe your faith is the one true religion then there can be no compromise without abandoning that belief system. As for the people who said Jesus will sort it out when he returns - people have been saying he's arriving soon for nearly 20 centuries. Let's take responsibility for our own species, shall we?

in order to restore peace we must educate the people in not following the teachings of their ancient simians and rather the teachings of modern technology in school
