Say that you sit next to someone in a certain class. You don't really know this person, but they seem to be pretty nice whenever you talk to them. Would it be too awkward to ask this person out?

Not at all, I used to do that back in the day and most of the time the answer was yes, not always, but 85+% of the time I'd say it was.

It's not awkward, but it might be too soon since you only speak in class. Ask to this person to hang out some time with you and your friends at a concert or something like that.

Well it would feel a bit awkward whilst doing it lol! But start chatting to the person and just asualy ask do you want to get a coffe with me sometime? or something like that? That way its sort of a date and sort of not if you see what i mean? its not a full blown dinner and night together but you can get to know them better! Good luck! xx

No but just try not to be too awkward when you do it. Just let it naturally happen and don't force it out. Blend it into your conversation. He will be happy that you asked as he may have been wanting to ask you the same thing. Good luck.

I would wait for the other person to make the first move. I was in a similar situation in my math class. We went to separate schools and I knew nothing about him either. One day he gave me his number. We are still getting to know each other but it's heading toward something more serious. Just give it time. :-)

Ask them out. Not on a conventional date but with friends. It's imperative that you have fun! then see each other more and more. Then he'll come around and ask you to the barn stomp dance. Then salads will be tossed... I demand it!

Yes it would be awkward. To make it less awkward try talking to him more and see how he reacts. If he seems interested than ask him "If he would want to do something that weekend." If you ask him now and he says yes it wouldnt last long

Go right ahead, as a guy I am blown away by how many girls are out there that think they CAN'T ask a girl out. If he's into you then he will say yes, if not, don't ever be afraid to ask someone you like out

not really, suggest studying or talking about the class at a place near bye....it never hurts to ask a question...they could feel the same way but don't know how to approach you
