Is this when you're driving the car or is someone else driving? I get motion sickness and migraine. I hope that you don't get migraine at other times. Migraine and nausea go together. Try taking ginger before you go in the car. If you go on a trip take ginger pills three times a day, starting the day before you go. You can also try a mix of lavender and peppermint oils on your head, just one drip of each. Another thing for your headache, if it is migraine , is to take L-Arginine, an amino acid, with ibuprofen or aspirin or whatever OTC medication you use.

I, too, have had this happen. It was happening when I was stuck in stop-n-go traffic, especially if I was behind a bus or truck. I couldn't always smell the exhaust, but began to notice where I was when this occurred.
Have your vehicle checked for exhaust leaks, also. If all connections are tight and there are no rusted out spots then the problem is likely emissions from the vehicles around you. You can close off the vent (outside air intake) to prevent exposure, but once the exhaust is in your car you are better off opening the window to increase air exchange.

If you are straining your eyes it can cause a headache maby you need glasses. If you get a migraine its a thumping headache and it can make vomit or you feel like you need to vomit. Go to the eye doctors.

Could be motion sickness. If it is something that has recently developed, go see the doctor to see if there is something physically causing it. Or, as someone said, it might be your eyes.

Make sure you don't have a problem where exhaust is entering the car. These symptoms could also be a sign of carbon monoxide poisoning.

It ia very likely it could be stress. You may want to discuss this with your family physician. There is always the possibility it could be something else that you are not aware of. But it does appear to be stress related.

I would get an eye exam! You might need glasses or contacts. If you already do, you might need a stronger prescription.
