It is one of the countless verses that those who teach a false gospel of works, can't get around for the life of them LOL

If the Jewish law cannot save (justify) us, why should we obey the Ten Commandments and the other Old Testament Laws?
Paul was not saying the law was bad, for in another letter he wrote "the law is holy" (Romans 7:12). Instead he was saying that the law can never make us acceptable to God. The law still has an important role to play in the life of a Christian.
The Law
(1) guards us from sin by giving us standards for behavior
(2) convicts us of sin, leaving us the opportunity to get in tune with God by asking His forgiveness,
(3) drives us to trust in the sufficiency of Christ because we can never keep the Ten Commandments perfectly.
The Law cannot possibly ever save us, but after we have Christians, The Law can be a valuable guide for living as God requires.

Nothing we do will save us. We are to believe in the "work" Christ did on the cross. Only our belief and faith in Christ will grant us a place in Heaven. The law is like a mirror, it shows us where we have gone wrong, but only confession and Christ's blood can wash away our sins.

We are justified by believing in Christ Jesus-- by HIS blood. Not by works, lest any man should boast as Ephesians 2:8-9 says.
Once we "believe" we are justified by the grace of God, through Jesus Christ-- and sanctified in His Holy Spirit- sealed! (See Ephesians 1)

The New Century Version, which I find easier to undestand, words it like this:
Yet we know that a person is made right with God not by following the law, but by trusting in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus, that we might be made right with God because we trusted in Christ. It is not because we followed the law, because no one can be made right with God by following the law.
I think it means that we aren't saved by obeying the law, by doing good. We are saved through Jesus Christ, we are made right with God through Jesus Christ.

God's Grace (in Jesus) is enough for us!!
We have been justified by our Faith in Jesus. By living under The Grace we are justified from the works of the law (in which no flesh would be justified).

It means that your life is not justified just by you doing good and obeying the laws but by your faith in Jesus christ.

Paul was writing when most christians were former Jews.
They used to follow the Law of Moses.
God would be obliged to grant everlasting life (justified) to anyone who could perfectly follow all those laws.
Of course, no one ever did.
The only way to get everlasting life is through Jesus.
But old habits change slowly, so Paul was trying to tell those former Jews to completely put away ideas related to the Mosaic law..

This means that all our sins and iniquities are covered by What Jesus suffered when we accept what He did as payment for our sins and receive Him into our hearts. We cannot be forgiven of our sins by how good we are. This is an important point to get and it can be very confusing even though it is very simple. In relation to this it is important to know that there is a reward for good works and there is still a law of sowing and reaping. The most important thing to know Is to know that you are filled with God's love whe you receive Jesus and you can have God's love flow from your life to others. You can have God's love flow in your life like a river, and flow back to you is what it does. it is very important to be humble and keep yourself in God's hands and try to do right because sin still causes suffering.

It means just what is says. But don't forget to add this scripture to it.
James 2:24 "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only".
