It's another psalm of prayer to the Lord for protection.....
David did that alot....because Saul sought to kill him.....and David seemingly had the world against him at all times.
But God wins in the end.......

We are comforted through the hard times by remembering God's help in the past. Recalling God's miracles and previous works can give us courage to continue.

i think the core meaning of this psalm is to always ,regardless of the enormity of any circumstance to always remember the greatness of GOD. we are after talking about the one that spoke all things into existance and holds them simply by the power of his word. he is a great GOD and we should always remember this regardless of the things that go on around us.

I actually believe that this is the Word or Jesus before his birth on earth as a human speaking about his Father.
