i have two part time jobs.
i want to ask for fewer hours in one of them. but i think my boss is not going to accept that and might fire me (i heard he does that usually).
does that mean i still can file unemployment and get money for that even though i still have another part time job?

If you file for UI and are approved for it you must let them know of any income you are earning. If the amount you make is less than what your weekly benefit amount would be then they may send you a check for the difference. Your weekly benefit amount is determined by the amount of wages you earned 3 quarters ago. If you have been working 2 part time jobs, chances are that the weekly benefit amount is going to be pretty small.

You can file for it, but you have to let them know about the other job and how much you are making.

If he fires you, you may not be eligible for unemployment benefits, even if you did not have another job.

Regulations and eligibility will vary, from state to state, but, In California, you can earn some, very small amount without losing unemployment benefit. Anything you earn above that limit will be deducted from the benefit amount.

The only way to find out, for sure, is to contact your state's unemmployment office, but, like the other answers point out, you will probably NOT be elegible.

Best to get ONE job that pays alright than to be unemployed and depend on the "government". If it helps, here's a resource that helped me prioritize during my job hunting days: http://starturl.com/jobin30days

I myself was in about 4 part-time jobs till I finally took a stand and moved in for a full-time thing. Experience counts. And so does every bit in the right direction.

No silly, unemployment is for when you HAVE NO JOB at all. If you collect it and work, you will get caught!
