If reptilian space aliens existed and they wanted to kill us and eat us for food. Would the, thou shall not kill commandment apply to the reptilian space aliens from Alpha Draconis.

In the original language, the commandment is actually "You shall not murder". There are times when killing has to be done, but it is not murder. Such as in defense of your family, self-defense, when a police officer has to stop an armed criminal who is harming others, or in times of war.

An invasion (by reptilian space aliens or whatever) would fall under the times when killing would not be murder.

Besides - didn't you see Will Smith in "I, Robot"? They stated in there that murder is only when one human kills another human. So since space aliens lizards are not human.... (LOL)

(By the way, in the Star Trek episode, Kirk did NOT kill the alien.)

The angle Kirk once created a cannon out of raw materials found on this planet to kill a reptilian Space Alien.
So, WWCKD. (What would Captain Kirk do?)
So, kill the alien, kiss the alien girls, move forward at warp speed.

If the little green men were trying to out-gun us because of superior technology, I think we should be wise enough to run away. Africans did that over 400 years ago when the Europeans came for slaves.

It doesn't even mean all humans.

It meant 'don't kill other jews'

That's it. If it was a general rule I don't think God would have been advocating genocide so enthusiastically in the rest of the old testament.

...the Lord would keep His children safe from reptiles from Alpha Draconis as He keeps us safe from the reptiles from Earth...
