Nope, don't do it. $1200 is a lot of money to pay for what.....credit insurance??? I can guaranty that if you send the money, you will get no loan money in return. You will be out the $1200 and the so called loan company will be laughing all the way to bank while they are plotting out their next victim.

No. You may pay PMI which is insurance on a mortgage if you have a low down payment but regular loans dont have credit insurance. Some companies offer disability or death insurance that you can purchase to cover you so your loan is paid if you cant but this is optional. Sounds like someone is scamming you.

sounds like a scam. you don't pay money to loan money unless you have applied for a secure loan....i wouldn't do it. apply for a loan through your bank or become a member of a credit union. you will get the best interest rates through the credit union.
