To answer your question, I want to be skinnier, I need to do my pilates dvd though and then I should be okay.

Skipping meals wont make you skinny. If your gonna skip a meal, skip dinner, but have a salad with low fat salad dressing instead. Cutting out carbs, sugar and grease is key, cheese, red meat, pasta, bread....all make you fat.

If you really want to be skinny start jogging, like a 15 minute jog everyday is great, and easy, you like get addicted! seriously...and Windsor Pilates is reaaaalllly great. Like a 20 min workout 3-4 times a week.

And for foods to eat that will help you get skinny follow the pericone prescription, the foods part, you can do the vitamins part to but the foods at least arent to hard to incorporate into your life.

And then there is this stuff called Herbal Fiberblend, its disgusting, but it fully cleans your digestive system and keeps it really healthy, it doesnt flush you it just grqabs everything in you and get it out, makes you feel really good and I swear it made me drop 20 pounds in two weeks.

Drink lots of water!

I want to be healthy, fact you have to eat to lose weight!
Skip meals and your body goes into starvation mode and holds onto everything you put into it. Resulting in not losing weight. If you want to look good, eat healthily and exercise but don't skip meals and most really skinny girls that do what you are talking about don't look healthy and end up with problems. There are girls out there I'm not one of them that are just lucky have great metabolisms and are naturally very tiny, if it's not your build then as I said just eat healthy 3 meals a day plus snacks.

I would love to be skinny, but I would not go to that measure to look good. I need to work on it the right way and exercise and eat healthy. I was skinny before so I know how it feels and want to feel that again, but it will take time and patience for me to do so. If you continue to skip meals your body will store the fat from when you do eat thinking you are depriving it! So watch out you may get bigger.

There has been alot written on this subject. Skipping meals is like skipping closer to an unhealthy lifestyle which for many leads to death in the end. Who then cares whether or not you were skinny? Your basically losing weight so you can fit into a coffin or if cremated ...a jar.

You DO know that skipping meals is just going to make you gain more weight.
If you want to be "skinny" you have to do this:
Healthy BIG Breakfast, Healthy MEDIUM Lunch, Healthy SMALL Dinner, Healthy Snacks, EXCERSISE(don't over excersise) and PLENTY OF SLEEP.
You will absolutely RUIN your health if you starve yourself, DON'T DO IT.
I'm in 7th Grade by the way, I don't trust the media, the media is CORRUPTED, who CARES if you aren't up to the "Media's Standards"?! Be YOURSELF, and people will love you!
Remember, if you're going through puberty and everyone else is looking "skinnier" than you or something, it just means they haven't reached that phase that you have already gone through! Women need to have curves and some body-fat(not too much), in order to healthily be pregnant with a baby.
You shouldn't worry about your image!

If you want to be skinny, skipping meals is not the answer.
Look first at what you are eating. Are you getting a good variety of healthy foods? Try eating the right types of food in small meals through out the day.
Small breakfast, mid moring snack, small lunch, mid afternoon snack, Sensible dinner, late afternoon snack.

Make sure to stay away from fried foods, get plenty of fruits and veggies. For protiens try to size it right a good protion is aprox the size of your palm. 6-8oz is a good amount of protien for lunch and dinners. Fruits and yogurts are good for breakfast. Stay away from sodas, try to drink as much water a day as possible 64oz is a good amount. Stay awya from sugary stuff, fatty, high calories, high sodium(salt)

Hope you decide to do this the healthy way.

Good Luck

I am skinny. Skipping meals will not make you skinny. It will mess up your metabolism. You need to eat less junk and become more active. It's a lifestyle thing. It's a gradual thing. You have to have a strong commitment and be patient. It won't happen over night but over time.

I'm not exactly skinny but im not exactly fat either.
Skipping meals is really not good, it will just screw up your metabolism.
the best thing to do, if you want to lose weight, is to eat healthier, drink more water and do more exercise.

I noticed in your Q&A that you seem to be fixated on thinness and anorexia (not to mention that you use "text messaging" style to the near exclusion of "real" English).

As far as dieting is concerned, and, assuming, of course, that you're not just a "troll", I think you have a psychological problem. Please speak with your parents, guidance counselor, doctor or other trusted individual (not your friends; you are beyond their help), before this gets worse for you.

Good luck!

Not me, I'm already too dang skinny. If you get to where you can't eat you will be sorry. Just eat and enjoy yourself.

Don't worry about it.
