A good way to spread the good word is to show it in everything you do, the way you act especialy.
Then when someone askes you about the light within you, tell them with respect and intelligence.

Simple stop speaking the word & start doing it! actions speak louder then words. I have seen many "Christians" say one thing and turn to do the opposite.
I have also seen many "Christians" doing gods work with out saying a word. this impressed me the most!
