True love indeed is unconditional. All our partners, as well as ourselves, are not perfect and so all frailties have to be considered when giving and sharing love. As for a definition of love, it is different to everyone. But being able to share all your live events and say anything that is on your mind to your partner is very important. Being honest and faithful, devoted and true to the other adds to this emotion. Willing to accept each other and want to be united as a whole also is important when in love with another. Defining love is a lot like trying to figure out why we are on this earth. There are as many answers as there are people on the earth. As well different cultures have different interpretations. Good question though.

Not in my world...that sounds sweet, but it's not practical. I do think some parent/child love may be unconditional, but romantic love should never be.

Here are some of the conditions under which love would end for me:
Lying
Cheating
Physical abuse
Stealing
Killing
Emotional/mental abuse

...and I'm sure there are more. Could you really love, with your romantic heart, someone who would do any of those things to you? I doubt it...what people tend to love (in those cases) is who they want (or wish) that person to be, not who they really are.

love is and should be unconditional. it's sometimes difficult to explain why you love someone, but you love them all the same, despite flaws. you forgive the ones you love even when they make mistakes.
however, there are things that you should not put up with, no matter how much you love someone. no form of abuse should be tolerated. love is unconditional, but you have to love and take care of yourself first.

Yes, there is unconditional, Unspeakable love, limitless undying love and I am fortunate to have it.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, love never fails.”

There is nothing in life that it really unconditional. We humans put conditions on everything. Love is being there when times are tough.

LOVE IS GOD'S GIFT, Love is blind and never sees age ,caste, creed, bank balance etc, it should come on its own from the bottom of heart, it should be felt, sensed and then realised. Love must be 100% unconditional, then only it is known as real love.

I beleive that there are different kinds of love. According to the Greek language Agape love is unconditional love, an all inclusive love, like how we are supposed to love one another as neighbors.

Phillos love is brotherly love, like how we love our family members and super close friends.

Eros is romantic love, like love between a man and woman, or husband and wife.

I just think there are different definitions of love and you have to learn how to distinguish them.

Love is to stick with someone no matter what happens, I love someone so much right now, she has hurt me a few times, but I still stick with her, I tried to explain it to her yesterday actually, and she said I was insane!
