What dialog has a God had with humanity in modern times? I'm referring not to the internal, personal dialog which many devout followers claim to experience within their heart and head, but rather a dialog with humanity at large, a "burning bush" of sorts.
By this I don't mean for example the burning train wreck of the Bush administration, although through interpretation and wordplay this could be the case?
No, seriously, aside from our continued existence upon the earth, perhaps, what has the creator supposedly "said" to us, all of us?

Actual spoken words from the Creator to an audience is a rare-to-nonexistent occasion. Since it has happened so rarely, why do You expect it NOW? Anything else (that i know of) always had a prophet to relay God's words. The burning bush was for Moses alone.
Perhaps You should be looking for a prophet, and history shows us that the prophet (except for The Prophet) was never believed by his own generation. Sounds hopeless to me.

God never spoke to "all" people. He always spoke to one person or a small group of followers.
Even the "burning bush" in your example - that was only revealed to Moses, no one else saw it.

the message that God is Love, is ageless. It transcends the thought that God does Love, that he IS Love. It's a message meant for every generation to hear.
