Jesus Christ 's birth was preannounced. He was born in Bethlehem . He was circumcised on the 8th day. He was presented in the temple on the 40th day as part and parcel of redemption which included two turtle doves as the cost to redeem. He was lost in the temple in his 12th year. He was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan. He was tempted by the devil for forty days after he fasted.. He formed an apostolic band of 12 men in which one would be the first leader of the church and the other would betray him. Delivered the seal of Christian living with the Sermon of the Mount. Performed miracles and other wondrous acts . Gave his final will and testament the last night he was on earth. Prepared his apostles for his death. Prayed to be delivered from the "hour of his suffering and death. Betrayed by the Kiss of a Friend , condemned by the religious authorities and Herod and Pontius Pilate. As humans, we are in an imperfect and fallen state. Through our bad actions we become spiritually unclean. Because God is perfect, no unclean thing can dwell in his presence. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to provide a way for us to be cleansed. Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, paid the ultimate penalaty for everyone's sins. Through Him we can become clean and able to live with God after we die.

That's a very brief introduction, there is a lot more that would take more time to discuss.

I would tell you that Jesus is the son of God and Savior,He Who was to come into the world to save it,to pay a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay.
Then I would advise you to read the life of Christ in the Gospels.

Jesus is the Son of God. He was sent by God to pay for our sins by dying in our place so that we could be forgiven and receive eternal life in Heaven. God raised Him from the dead on the third day. When we turn from our sins and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then God gives us the Holy Ghost to help us live the life that is worthy of eternal life.

I would tell you that Jesus is the Christ of God! That He came to save you from your sins, and give you eternal life. I would tell you to read the Gospels, and see what Jesus says about 'picking up your cross and following Him.' And I would tell you that Jesus loves you. I would continue to tell you of His grace, as long as you continued to want to listen.

read the gospel of John chapter 1

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.

3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
