The calendar as we know it today was not yet standardized. Year were usually issued based on who was the king at that time. So the Bible gives the dates in those terms. The birth of Jesus was in the year when Augustus was emporer and Cyrenius was governor of Syria for the first time. As the historical records of Syria are not well preserved, there is disagreement over what year that was.

While scholars in the Middle Ages calculated it to the year now considered 1 BC, it appears that they may be wrong. Recentl documents show that Cyrenius may have been govenor between 6 and BC also, making that his first time as govenor. That would move both the birth and crucifixion back by 4-6 years.

The New Testament tells us that Jesus was 30 years old when he began to teach. If you follow the events, you will see mentions of different feast or season passing during his ministry, which indicate that he taught for about 3 1/2 years. This would place his crucifixion between 27 and 29 AD, which matches right with the toher rulers who are mentioned in the New Testament as reigning during his lifetime.

No one knows. If based upon the Bible and the idea that he was born in 1AD, then approximately 33-34CE. Scholars now believe he was born around 4BCE, so if he was 33 when he was "killed", that would have been 29CE.

1) AD doesnt mean "after death" Its latin for Ano Domini or "year of our lord."
2) BC and AD arent used anymore. Its BCE and CE for Before Common Era and Common Era.
