I'm 17 I did not get my learners permit when i was 15 I could not get my learners when i was 15 because i was not in school i have since went back to school and finished it I am trying to figure out if i can get a license before i turn 18 or if i would have to wait.I do not live with my parents and it is not by my choice my mom is in jail and my dad just got out of jail.I am trying to become a better person then them and it is hard for me to get a ride to work or to my girlfriends from my brother and sister who i live with when they work all day.So I was wondering if there was anyway for me to get a license at my current age in the state of Florida.I would appreciate answers that are not from someone trying to be a smart *** and make a 17 year old feel like an idiot cause theres enough people in my life like that already. Thank you in advance for anybody that can help.

No. In Florida you need to have held a learners permit for at least one year before getting a full license. I have included the Florida DMV link. Just click on it.

Individual states regulate driver's licenses. Go to your state's website and have a look at requirements.
