For girls only: I have pectus excavatum and I think it looks bad (concaved chest) deformed ribs where they join the pec muscles. I know the center for a "masculine" man is his chest and girls really want a guy with a great chest. So what do I do? Would any girl really even want to be in bed with a guy with pectus excavatum? Please don't tell me that if a girl loves you they don't care about what your chest looks like (really a load of crap).

unfortunately your last line is wrong..
Why? because your physical problem isn't your real problem..
You believe you are undatable ( and unbedable) and therefore you are....
Work on your other attributes, you may be pleasantly surprised..
Don't expect every woman you see to come running..
And don't expect super-model beautiful ( they are usually shallow, and more interested in how a guy compliments their looks, not anything you would want...)

Well, I'd never heard of this condition before, so I Googled it. Turns out, this condition can be surgically repaired. Surgery is generally advised if associated problems such as difficulty with exercise develop. In addition, some people undergo surgery for cosmetic reasons. If you're really this concerned about the ability to attract someone, you may want to consider having it repaired and just moving on with your life. People have things fixed all the time.
But what worried me more about your question is that you think that it's a load of crap to say that someone who loves you will love all of you, whether it's perfect or not. That isn't a load of crap and in fact, it's one of the things that makes this life worth living. There are millions of happily married people all over the world with all kinds of challenges, both physical and mental. And in every case, their partners saw their problem, but also saw much more. Saw someone worth getting to know, worth investing in, worth loving. If you can't see past your chest, that's okay. I do hope that you outgrow that, though. But to think that no one else could ever see past it is just silly. And if you constantly tell people that, or distrust the love that is offered to you, your chest isn't the problem - the heart inside of it is.
Be open to love and to acceptance and love and acceptance will come to you. I promise. :)

You know I would bring it up ahead of time.
If your not in a relationship and just having random sex, your going to run into the physical judgment over and over.
I dont think the "Love" thing is a load of crap because:
There are people with missing limbs, in wheel chairs, deaf, blind, etc. who have someone at their side.
Do you think there is not someone for you?
Do all couples bail out on each other when something tragic happens to their appearance, accidents like fires, car wrecks, etc.?
No, not if they love you
Granted its tougher for you but definitely not a lost cause, that's ridiculous.
A real man is not defined by how his chest looks either.
A real woman will see beyond that.

I have P.E. as well.
So I know where ur coming from.
I have often wondered the same thing and I know it can cause ppl 2 become self consious.
you will meet the right person sometime soon.
don't push them away because you'll think they won't accept u.
I know this isn't something u want to hear....but you're gonna have to learn to accept it.....or get a scar like I did.
accept urself first and stop thinking about what girls will say about ur chest.
not all girls are shallow and mean like they portray them on "mean girls"

its not a load of crap, only those vain "beautiful people" whose life is over with a pimple. there is somebody out there everyone and real love will overlook just about everything. if someone judges you on your abnormality then do you really care what the narrow-minded idiot thinks, everyone is an individual and that separates from the rest of the animals on this planet
