i really like this guy and he is friendly to me, says i look good etc has definately flirted with me-im quite conservative he has loads of friends is a footballer and is really out going i want him to think im really special and different from the rest what can i do

i feel like im not good enough and slightly intimidated by his friends etc- i do have a good job am doing better than most of them in terms of career- but it also takes over my life and sometimes i feel like im not as social as i should be what can i do so he will like me

he facebooked me the other day i started it by asking how he was

what should i write back i really really like him dont want to put me foot in it though if he does indeed just see me as a friend

Racheal, most guys regardless of there age appreciate a woman that is comfortable in her own skin. One that has self confidence and a good self esteem, not an egotist but feels she is good enough to be true to her values and morals. A woman that is not trying to be someone or something other than who she truly is is of utmost importance. She must be able to laugh at the world as well as at herself. A sense of humour is very important and being able to communicate in a mature and open minded manner is also very much a turn on. Too many females believe, falsely in my opinion, that it is there looks and/or laying down with males is what will nab them. But fact is that majority of guys do not want to be affiliated with a woman that has been with too many guys as they will question their ability to keep this lady faithful. And there are a lot of teenagers who do not judge others on their exterior shell and are more interested in the person inside. So I guess if anything what this old guy is trying to say is to be true to yourself and he will see what a special person you are. The fact that you are responsible and have a job and are somewhat self supporting at your age is also very much an asset to most guys. Best of luck and I hope he is not just a jock looking for another notch in his belt but wants a real relationship with someone who doesn't place him on a pedestal.
