Religion is a poor substitute for common sense, since it opens up a bigger question than it answers. If you are going to argue that God always was, you might as well argue that people always were. Neither argument makes any sense, does it?

That is the first thing that they find fault with the big bang, that you can't make everything out of nothing, but they have no problem with god being forever and making everything out of nothing.

You are right. Religion cannot explain that. Its the job of science to explain.

You might want to check the latest Quantum Theories about the beginning of everything. The Big Bang has been replaced with a new theory which does explain "how something can be made from nothing". And provides some answers for things like "if God created everything then where did God stand while doing it".

Your mind is so limited that you can not even see God. He is not limited by time and space, as we are. You put us down because we can not prove a beginning when God has no beginning, while you and Science can not prove how we even began. You are so foolish because you put your faith in something that offers no hope and no afterlife, while we have hope and life more abundantly.
