Stability is what is wanted. As long as there isn't a full-blown war I don't think the US will intervene in any significant way.

Depends on what Iran might do in the next 5 years; if they try to impose their kind of religious extremism on the middle east then there could be a chance of them being attacked by the free world.

I think that we will be allies with Iran within five years. Our purpose in the Middle East is to liberate the people, not come against them.

My son was in Iraq three years ago as an Army MP. The common people loves the U.S. military, because they know that we are there for them It is not the countries that we are coming against. Al Qaeda is the enemy.

yes, the public reason will be because of the threat that their leader and a nuclear weapon would bring to the world. a man with that amount of power that admit-tingly wants to wipe a race of the face of the earth should not be allowed. this would be a valid reason for the conflict.

government reason will be to try and establish a "better" democracy in that country to bring western control and stability to the middle east for the resource capabilities. Not a valid reason.

Yes. They will attack us directly, or Israel first.

Actually, they are already at war with us, having trained terrorists in Iran, shipped them into Iraq, and supplied arms and advisors into Iraq.

If you haven't read the real news, you haven't heard any of this.

Yes, if Isreal does not do it first.

Why ?

They have vowed to Destroy the United States and Isreal, (especially Isreal).

If they come into possession of a Nuke, I have no doubts that they will smuggle it into the trunk of a Car , park it in downtown New York and set it off.

I am afraid George W. Bush might attack before he term ends. But Congress will not permit him to do so. I don't think that Democratics will favor attacking Iran.
