I was raised by wolves, and let me tell you, it's not so special anymore. Tons of new kids are comming out of the woodwork in my forrest. I have to fight more for scraps, don't even get me started on trying to mate with the one elvish princess within 2000 years my age. just last week my packleader, Blisterpaw, told me that if i didn't start carrying my weight around here and keeping up with the new Johnson boy, he'd alpha me right outta the pack.

It's hard to say, as it all depends on documentation. Would an event that took place in a rural village in Banglasdesh garner enough attention to make it to some sort of master list?

I think the fact that news can be transmitted across the globe has increased the number of cases that we hear about.

The Wikipedia link provided provides a list of documented cases (there certainly seem to be a sharp increase since the 1990s); further down the page is a list of links you may want to check out.

The funny thing about that question you linked is that most "gangsta's" did go to church and believe in Jesus. So those Ferrell kids he was talking about after a busy day of bustin' caps on sucka emcee's arses sit back and poor a little of their Old E onto the ground and give thanks to the lawd.

What? That's not normal--being raised by wolves? More people should be. Maybe they'd be more pack (read "socially") responsible. I still run, on occasion, with the pack that raised me.

No there has not.

But there has been a sharp increase in children being raised by people who aren't very effective parents.

It's supposed to be kids raised by wolves? Not the other way around? darn, it's going to break my daughter's heart when I tell her we have to send little Lupe back to the pack.

Maybe only metaphorically. If you consider that the asker is a Christian, and Christianity uses the symbolism of sheep and wolves, and the statistics of those who consider themselves non-Christian are on the rise ...

Apparently so, if that question hadn't come up I wouldn't have noticed. We'd better have a telethon or some such to help those poor feral children.
