Words of wisdom from my 11 year old, but is he to young to realize it?

He was talking to his stuffed frog, and he said to it "Stop poking your owner in the eye." This is what immediately came to my heart.

How disobedient children disappoint their parents, yet we still love them they may still grieve us.

How GOD created us all for HIS pleasure, and how HE is our parent, though HE still loves us, we may greieve HIM.

Stop poking your creater in the eye.

I believe that GOD speaks to us even through our children's play.

Some people are so ignorant when they get on here and leave comments like some people have to this question. Thank you for sharing this with me. I completely agree. As Gods children we definatly need to be more obedient to Him. He did create us for His pleasure and more people need to live for Him.

You are probably right but then again, you are filled with the Holy Spirit and can discern and understand all things spiritual. I think it is amazing how God made us mortal like the animals (explains food chain and fossils) but separated us from them by making us in His image or in His likeness meaning we can reason, communicate, will, have authority, create and love. He then was going to let us GAIN immortality by eating of the Tree of Life which is symbolic of obeying His express commands. But, man and woman decided to ursurp God's prerogative and authority and make their own decisions about what was right and wrong or good and bad. We disobeyed Him, eternal life was denied us-original sin was started-physical and spiritual death awaited us. But, then God decided to come to earth as a Man and take mankind's sin upon Himself so we could live with Him forever as was meant to be in the beginning. My point is finally, that we have done nothing. He made us, He saved us. We haven't done anything. He's done it all for us.

god truly does speak to us through our children sometimes,i can remember once my son told me that a certain man was gonna destroy my life,(his exact words) and although my life was not destroyed it sure as heck felt like it at the time,i went through a really rough time because i didnt take heed to what my child said,so by all means listen to them and if it sounds like good advice take it.

And Santa knows if you've been naughty or nice.
And the Easter Bunny brings you eggs and candy.
And King Arthur had a round table in Camelot.
And Hercules traveled to Hades and killed the three headed dog Cerberus.
And all manner of faerie tales and myths which are equally as believable as yours.
