I flicked my hair when I walked past this guy who is 4 years older than me in school to try and get his attention because I have a huge crush on him and he just stared at me for about 5 seconds like he was thinking about something and then he said "do your tie up a bit there a bit there"(I wear a school uniform with a tie so he was suggesting it wasn't done up properly) and he did my tie up for me.
I don't know him that well but do you think he likes me?
Why else would he do my tie up for me???

Well every guy is different but I would say he likes you. From a personal standpoint I would not spend a lot of time helping a girl who was not a potential mate. Men have been psychologicaly evolved to do this.

If he is a teenager (17, 18, 19 years old) and he is attracted to you (13, 14, 15 years old) then he has a big problem. At this age, four years is a huge age gap. The interests of a teenager four years older then you are very different. If he is interested in you, it is probably because he wants to use you so stay away. Find a boy your own age!
When you are 20, it is fine to date a boy 4 years old...but not before.

I am sorry to tell you this - it may come as a shock. Ok, here goes: Teenaged boys think about sex and themselves (and themselves having sex) 90% of the time. That percentage may be a bit low... He did up your tie because he registered your flirt and was debating in his mind if he should pursue sweet innocent little you.

Why not, you sound Easy enough... is that all it takes?
Advice: men know when a girl doesn't realize what she's in for, and older men/even boys know that younger girls are less experience (much more "impressionable" is the word, that seeming to "care" for your hair/appearance has you all goo-goo/gaa-gaa over the guy) and less of a challenge than the ones their own age... (and can be duped). Watch out.

You're calling a man that can help you "an idiot" and getting angry because it doesn't appear that way (to you), in your gullible-bubble of being flattered by that... and yet, you can't understand that "liking you" has nothing to do, with teasing a young girl. In fact, you should have said: DID I ASK YOU TO TOUCH ME? and reported his rear-end, before he takes even more liberties with other girls (little do you know). Because, he's not been able to TEST you, and touch you with a TRICK... and next time, he knows he can simply put an arm around you, etc. and you will be receptive.. thus, without working or talking or asking you out, etc. he has already penetrated your 'personal space'. There's more, but you're too young for me to explain it. (Ask your dad.)
Now, because you've proved that you can't think things thru.. both by calling me a "name" in anger.. and in that silly situation.. I can see that your'e a little Drama Queen to be, and will have many, many real-life problems due to your opinion of yourself (and thin-skin vs. insults/regard to others that are "not you", and a lack of humility and understanding says a ton about your thought processes. Why else would he do someone a favor when their clothes aren't being worn properly? Gee, I don't know. Maybe he was just being polite. Maybe he's into you. No one can read minds so I guess the only way to find out is to wait and see if he asks you out.
