He paid children to catch that dog, then he watched it starve to death and called it art. He deliberately killed that dog through the cruelest means possible and it is art? I don't think so. That is cruelty at its fullest.
I signed the petition. I hope others do as well.

Edit: No problem!!! Thanks for bringing that to my attention so we could all sign that petition!!!

I must add something here. While I fight against both and I am a hard core animal lover, let's be real here. If I see someone abusing a dog and at the exact same time someone harming a child, I will react to both, but I am going to get that child out of there first. Emilie, I am also surprised that some people do not value human life more than this. As I said, they equally appall me and one cannot really be separated from the other, right along with elder abuse. All need to be stopped. At the same time, we have to have some reason and logic when it comes to this. I would hate to be put in that situation and I would hope if I was confronted with this, there would be enough people around so we could stop both

This is the 2nd sick incident I saw these days involving poor animal abuse. Another sick bastard cypriot student in greece tricked a stray dog under his window with a sausage and threw frying oil on the poor dog.!!! The dog died helpless after a few hours growling of pain while the psycho was laughing with his friends.
What kind of monsters are these people.. and what are we doing about it??
These poor animals have to be protected by these creatures in every way possible.
I personally have already signed the petition. Hope you all do too. This is a start, a small one but a start.

I've read over other people's answers and got the drift on what goes on in the video. I do not want to see it, because then it would be burned in my mind forever. I get my fill of watching what monsters people can be by watching "Animal Precinct" and "Animal Cops" on animal planet. Once I see something like that I am physically sick for days. Words cannot describe how I feel about these sorry excuses for human beings. My only consolation is that when these poor animals do die, their suffering is over, and they are in a wonderful place on the other side, never to be hurt again.
Edit-Please go and sign the petition, I didn't mean to discourage people from this. I didn't realize that is what was attached to it.

Thats f****n awesome.

Most of you dont understand this art at all. Its called shock art, and it does get many points across.

Here are the points, in case you missed them.

1. Dogs are stupid
The dog was NOT chained to anything. A thin rope was used to tie the dog to a wire. An intelligent animal, like a cat, would of chewed through it. Or, if the animal is not stupid, then the animal chose to die.

2. Honduras is a s**t hole
Now, all you call the artist bad names. It not like he did this to specifically kill the animal. He wanted to see if anyone would actually release the animal, would anyone have the audacity. It odd, that if people were told that he was an art exibit and not to feed him, and they saw him there for days on end, obviously sick, then why did they not release him….hmm….

So there you have it. The artist is guilty of nothing.

Go ahead, tie me up, just like that dog…..ill be out within the hour, even if you tied my hand, i would chew through the rope…

Was his mother on drugs when she was carrying????
Anyone with a GOOD heart and a good soul would not of wrote such words! He should be in a mental hospital!!
Back to your question this is animal abuse.
Only this jerk would not call this animal abuse.

I can't even stand to see things like that!!! I can't help but cry. That poor dog, i am still in shock. Can you imagine the pain he felt! I would give every dog a home if I had the room to do so. Even through his suffering and pain he probably still get excited to see people come into the art gallary. His tail probably wagged in excitement as people stared at his body that was wasting away. That person needs to be executed. That is beyond belief. I am not a violent person, but I pray someone tortures that person to the same degree! He will go to hell for this. I pray for that poor dog.

The "artist" cannot even argue that he was trying to make a political statement because he left that animal to die. And he made money from people who paid to see such sadistic trash.

What he did was not clever or even thought-provoking. Resorting to shock tactics to create so-called "art" is a cheap trick, and in this case is cruel, unnecessary and sadistic.

He could have saved that dog, and so could have anyone who went to the exhibition.

Animal abuse? ABSOLULTELY!

Sign the petition!

Yes. I'd already seen it, and already signed.

I am just as disgusted about it now as when I first saw it.

If this is art, then I'll proudly call myself a philistine.

BTW - Anyone else just as sickened by those in the background sipping drinks and chatting whilst an animal is tortured in front of them?

ABUSE! ABUSE! ABUSE!

That is just sickening! Lets put him on display and not feed him until he dies and see how he likes it!

OMG! I just want to throw up! It's people like this that just need to be locked away with all the other killers on death row!

Now, I am going to go and sign the petition.

Thank you for posting that, as sick as it was, someone needs to do something about it!
